Yesterday was a very busy day for Boyle's Beauties! We ran our cafe in the morning and then the students and staff changed into their Halloween costume's and participated in the annual Holy Childhood SPOOKTACULAR. Our first stop during the SPOOKTACULAR was in Mrs. O's room where she was dressed up as a mummy and had boxes filled with fun, frightful Halloween gooeyness. The students had to reach into the boxes to find a picture/Halloween word, but before they could get to the pictures they had to maneuver their hands through the slimey glop in each box. There was a box of worms (spaghetti), teeth (candy corn), eyeballs (peeled grapes), guts (red jello), and brains (crushed tomatoes). It was so cool! Thanks, Mrs. O! Boyle's Beauties also watched a film made by our very own video club and visited the ACHIEVES haunted house. They ended their afternoon with an awesome BINGO game in Mrs. Moore's room. Mrs. Moore read them There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Bat. As she read the story the student's had to find the pictures/words that she read on their BINGO board. Everyone won BINGO! It was a very busy, but extremely fun and exciting day for all!
